This book was very easy to read and well worth it.As a small business owner my focus over time was shifting away from the customer and toward the nuts and bolts of running a company. This book was a nice wake up call to get my focus back on customer service and reminded me of the things I need to be doing every day to take care of my customers. After all, they are the most important part of any business.
It also offers suggestions for my customer facing employees that are both simple to understand and effective with customers and co-workers. Some of the ideas were not new to me, but served as a reminder of what everyone at my company should be doing.
I read the paperback version and have recommended it to several people. I would suggest it for any owner or manager, as well as any customer facing employee.

This book is really great. We were introduced to it at our business. The book is easy to read and has questions for review at the end of most chapters. We used it as a team building exercise. I have read literally hundreds of business books that teach about service, teamwork and motivation. Dennis Beson's book My Customer, My Coworker is as good as any I have read. it is filled with common sense solutions facing the typical business owner. The book was quick ans easy to read. We have 25 employees and are having them read it as well. Half have already completed it and all have really liked it.
This is a wonderful resource for anyone who wants to boost morale and really step up their customer service in their work place or business. I gave a copy to each of my managers at my pizza restaurant and they used it to step up their own communication and customer service, as well as to teach our crew what it takes to really put the customer first. I recommend this to anyone who manages people and struggles to find a tool that will really delivers results. It is very well written and easy to read.
I'd recommend the book for owners, managers, supervisors or even motivated employees who just want to know what it takes to move up in the business world. I know the people that espouse the customer service skills that the author talks about in his book are the ones who frequently receive pay raises and promotions in my small business.
