This is a quirky, funny book written with edgy humor. Many of the stories were relatable to me--- "The Quiet" --where the mother just wants peace and quiet in order to write. "About Boys" is also hilarious----everything the author says here IS true ( I have two boys of my own). And my all-time favorite, "Lure of the Chocolate Sirens." Guilty Admissions was like no other book I have ever read. To be honest, I thought I was on an acid trip (not that I ever have been), but in a good way. There are bursts of guilty admissions and also clever stories peppered throughout about parenting, Christmas, and mothers having some really strange moments. It's a quick, fun read that would make perfect flying (like an airplane) material.
